European Travel Guides and Books

Up to date European travel guides with maps are an essential starting point for any European football trip. Information is key to getting the most out of European short city breaks, so DO YOUR RESEARCH and get clued up on where you're going before you even think about booking anything.

Find a book you're comfortable with - one that suits you layout wise. I'd recommend the Time Out city guides if you're only going to one place and they cover that particular city, or for multiple destinations try either a Rough Guide or Lonely Planet guide, both of whom produce excellent Europe tourist guides. Find one that suits you though, that's the main thing.

When you've got your book, have a good study up and then work out which area you fancy stopping in, i.e. close to the nightlife, sights, stadium or whatever.
