Tickets - Tickets are usually available from outlets throughout the city, including the stadium box office, for all but the biggest of games. The Biglietteria section of the official website has a list of ticket outlets. Alternatively try online at
http://www.listicket.it.
And remember, due to new anti-hooligan laws in Italy, you'll need some form of ID matching the name on the ticket in order to gain entry to the stadium.
Stadium - Home matches are played at the compact, 25,000 capacity Stadio Olimpico, the club having checked out of the hated Stadio Delle Alpi for good. The Olimpico is a couple of miles south-west of the city centre, easily reached by taking Tram 4 from Porta Nuova station, or Tram 10 from Porta Susa.
Ultra Culture - The second oldest club in Italy, Torino have a long, proud history and the, (slightly ageing and bourgeois), fans consider themselves the true team of Turin. The main ultra group is the left-wing Ultras Granata, who have a fierce rivalry with Atalanta.
Overview - "This is the Self Preservation...Society!!" sang Michael Caine's mob in the Italian Job after they'd taken Turin by storm during an England away day back in the sixties. Well, with two of Serie A's most famous clubs, an impressive old town and lively riverside night scene, plus all that iconic Italian Job scenery, Turin is just about the perfect city for a spot of European football travel today too. Leave the minis at home though maybe....
Airports & Transfers - Caselle Airport - ten miles north of the city centre, linked by trains every half hour (20mins, 3Euros), or buses every 30mins (40mins, 5Euros). Taxi's 35Euros.
Nightlife - There are options in the Quadrilatero Romano - the medieval heart of Turin - but most of the action takes place down by the river in Murazzi, where you'll find a plethora of bars and clubs built into the old docks between Piazza Vittorio and Parco del Valentino.
Shopping - The porticoes of Via Roma are full of designer opportunities, whilst Via Garibaldi is the longest pedestrian thoroughfare in Europe. Here you'll find the Juventus store.
