Tickets - The Estadio La Romareda's 34,000 capacity means tickets are relatively easy to come by for all but the biggest games. On sale at the stadium's ticket office 2-3 days before the game.
Stadium - Surrounded by high-rise apartment blocks a mile or so south-west of the centre, the Estadio La Romareda is easily reached on foot by following Passeo Gran Via. Buses 30, 35 and 40 will get you there quicker if caught from Plaza de Espana.
Ultra Culture - The Zaragoza ultras usually serve up a decent atmosphere. The main crew are the Ligallo Fondo Norte in the North Stand.
Overview - The capital of Aragon, Zaragoza is a lively and historic city with surprisingly few tourists. The large student population gives it a youthful feel with plenty of good tapas bars and a long established La Liga side in the form of Real Zaragoza.
Airport & Transfers - Zaragoza Airport - seven miles west of the centre, linked by buses at 1.50Euros a pop. Taxi's cost 20Euros.
Nightlife - Most of the action in the old town takes place in and around the streets of El Tubo, just south of the giant riverside Plaza de Pilar, with some brilliant tapas bars. Further south-west is the university district where you'll find another lively concentration of nightlife.
Shopping - Nicknamed the city of shops, Zaragoza's main drag is the Paseo de Independencia, running south from Plaza de Espana. Turn left towards the bottom of this street onto Calles Francisco de Vittoria and Santa Joaquina de Vedruna and you'll find the more exclusive boutiques on offer.
