Tickets - Fair play if you've managed to bag yourself a ticket via the official UEFA ticketing website. For the rest of us it'll be the usual hanging around train stations, haggling with touts for overpriced, unwanted corporate cast-offs. The main train station - or Hauptbahnhof - is found between the Old Town and the stadium. Be on the lookout for scousers in tracksuits.
Stadium - The soon-to-be 30,000 capacity Tivoli Neu, home of FC Wacker Tirol, will be hosting three matches at Euro 2008 and is a ten minute walk east of the Aldstadt, on the other side of the Hauptbahnhof.
Ultra Culture - Wacker's hardcore plot up in the Tivoli Nord.
Overview - Surrounded by the colossal snow-capped mountains of the Northern Alps, the compact city of Innsbruck enjoys a location nothing short of stunning. And with the Old Town, stadium and nightlife all within a stones throw of the train station, you can't go far wrong.
Airport & Transfers - Innsbruck Airport - 2 miles west of the city centre, linked by Bus F taking 20mins. Taxi's 10Euros.
Nightlife - The cobbled streets of the compact Old Town (Aldstadt) brim with bars. After-hours head to the procession of late bars on Viaduktbogen in the railway arches behind the station.
Shopping - The main shopping drag is Maria-Theresien-Strasse.
