Tickets - Sell outs are almost unheard of at the Estadio da Luz, and tickets are almost always available on the day of the match. If you do want to buy in advance, however, do so at the stadium ticket office or online at

Stadium - Completely rebuilt for Euro 2004, the new 65,000 seater Estadio da Luz is a spit for the new Arsenal ground. Located north-west of the city centre in the Benfica district, the stadium is easily reached by taking the blue metro line to either Alto dos Moinhos or Colégio Militar/Luz.
Ultra Culture - The Manchester United of Portugal, with a large, nationwide following. Their main ultra groups are the right-wing No Name Boys and the long established Diabos Vermelhos, from whom the NNB split in 1992.
Overview - With a laid back vibe by day and a late and lively scene by night, Lisbon is an underrated capital city which also happens to play host to two of Europe's most famous football clubs. Throw in year-round sunshine and you've got just about everything you could ever possibly want from a top European football travel destination.
Airports & Transfers - Portela Airport - 4 miles from the city-centre, connected by buses every 20 minutes, costing 3 Euros. Taxis will set you back 10-15 Euros.
Nightlife - The tight streets and alleys of the Bairro Alto are rammed with bars of all types, but beware - things don't really get started until around midnight. From 2am onwards follow the crowds towards the river where there are a number of clubs housed in converted warehouses, including the world-renowned Lux. Alternatively, hop in a cab and head to the many bars/clubs under the 25 de Abril suspension bridge at Doca de Santo Amoro.
Shopping - Mainstream high-street shops can be found in the streets running south from Rossio Square towards the river. For a more cutting-edge fashion selection head west to the Bairro Alto.
